Glenn A. Ellis
Glenn A. Ellis represents clients throughout Pennsylvania and the nation who have suffered serious injuries. Prior to joining Layser & Freiwald, Mr. Ellis worked and tried cases as a defense lawyer. Since then, he has brought his understanding and perspective to the handling of cases exclusively for plaintiffs, concentrating his practice in environmental litigation and health care related litigation, including catastrophic injury, medical negligence, prescription drug errors and toxic torts.
Mr. Ellis graduated from Drexel University with a B.S. degree in Biochemistry. Mr. Ellis’s thesis at Drexel University focused on the carcinogenic effects of commonly used golf course pesticides. After graduation, he worked as a Chemistry teacher for the City of Philadelphia.
Mr. Ellis received his law degree from Rutgers University College of Law in Camden and an LLM in trial advocacy in May 2006 from the James E. Beasley School of Law at Temple University. While in law school, Mr. Ellis interned in the intellectual property department of Rohm & Haas and AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals. After graduating law school, Mr. Ellis remained at AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals, where he concentrated on the patent prosecution of a substantial portfolio of CNS drugs. Mr. Ellis has been selected as a Rising Star by SuperLawyers.com in 2007 and 2008.
Mr. Ellis is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association and Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Ellis lives in Woodbury, New Jersey with his wife and daughter.
