Lawyers for the Cure

Layser & Freiwald, P.C. is proud to chair the 2007 Lawyers for the Cure™. We need your pledge of support to join us on Mother’s Day, May 13, 2007, to walk or run for the cure, and to become a law firm sponsor of this important community event.

Year-round, the Philadelphia Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation organizes special events to fund innovative breast cancer education, screening and treatment programs. Seventy-five percent of net funds raised stay in the Delaware Valley, with the remaining 25% going to the Komen Foundation's National Research program.

The cure takes many forms, from life-saving educational programs to free mammograms. It is happening thanks to the hard work of the most devoted community and healthcare organizations in the region – the Komen Philadelphia Affiliate grantees. In 2006-2007, the Komen Philadelphia Affiliate has funded 42 local projects through its mission dollars, totaling $2,434,547.

Please commit to one of the pledge levels before December 8, 2006!  Firms that pledge $7,500 or more will be listed in promotional materials, including the Komen Philadelphia Race for the Cure® T-Shirt and Race Entry Forms.  For firms watching dollars as the year ends, please note that pledges may be paid after the New Year.
