Patricia Giordano Named Chairperson of the Camden County Child Placement Review Board
Trish Giordano was recently named as Chairperson of the Camden County Child Placement Review Board Number 1. Ms. Giordano was appointed to the Board in 2001. New Jersey established the child placement review system in 1978. Under the system, each county selects community volunteers to monitor children placed outside their homes by the Division of Youth and Family Services. The boards, which serve as advocates for the displaced children, make recommendations to the court regarding the appropriateness of the placements by ensuring that all available services are being utilized so as to meet the goals of safety and permanency of placement for children.
