• Mr. Freiwald is seeking class certification in a case involving claims of toxic contamination of groundwater and air at a lakeside residential community in Northern Illinois. The federal action, filed in Philadelphia against chemical giants Rohm and Haas Chemical Co. seeks medical monitoring costs in light of more than a dozen rare brain cancers among residents of this small community.
